Seven Worst Televised Humiliations Of Japanese Animals

>> Tuesday, April 14, 2009

We all know that Japanese television is insane, and that the people of Japan love to humiliate themselves for the viewing public. But why do they have to drag their poor animals into it? Judging from the reactions of these poor creatures, they understand what's going on about as much as we do. Which is to say, not at all. Take a look for yourself at our list of Seven Worst Televised Humiliations Of Japanese Animals. Do they not have PETA in Japan?

7. Stacking Food On Animals

Way to give your animals eating disorders, Japan!

6. Cat Tape Tricks

Is this really a trick? At least it translates across all cultures: If you put tape on your cat, you're a d*ckhead.

5. Cat Weight Lifting

Cats get free fish, viewers get a chuckle. Doesn't seem so bad, right? Unless you're the f'ing fish.

4. Japanese Cat Loves Toothbrush

Never ask to borrow to borrow this lady's toothbrush!

Wait, that joke doesn't really work. You'd have to somehow be in Japan, and so desperate for oral hygiene that you're knocking on strangers' doors looking for a loaner, and then, out of all the houses in Japan, come across this crazy lady, and she'd have to agree to let a stranger borrow her toothbrush, then never mention that her cat rubs her face on it, plus you'd have to not get clued in that something was amiss when you saw her feeding her cat at the table from a spoon. Still, it's all we got.

3. Monkey And Dog Working Out

Poor, out-of-shape bulldog. Shamed by a showboating monkey. We can only hope the monkey doesn't give the dog a wedgie later. Of course, Monkey Gives Dog Wedgie Fun Show Hour Fun would be a number one ratings smash in Japan. Or on Fox.

2. Red Panda Attack

Finally, a way to make Big Brother watchable.

1. Cat Humiliation Through The Japanese Calendar Year

When the animals rise up and take us over, and humans are tried in Animal Court, this video will be exhibit A.

Aww, animal court! Can't you just picture them, in their little judge robes with their little squeaky gavels? Hilarious.
