This may be the funniest video I've ever seen. Sheer genius.
So is the audio. Legend is Grady Martin was handed a nylon string guitar he'd never played before, nobody in Nashville used sheet music, so he mostly made it up as he went along. What you're hearing is his first take. That was when music was recorded "live." The first take was the one used on the record.
