Dog Fights Are Barbaric

We think all reasonable, humane people who are not former professional athletes can agree that dogfights are barbaric. But if you read the comments on this video from Funny Or Die, you'll see that many viewers are angered by this clip, as if it were making fun of the actual dog fights. We believe that we still have the right to make fun of old men, no matter how moral and just are the words dribbling out of their arthritic, depressing mouths.

I do not mean to make fun of Sen. Byrd because his heart is in the right place, but his delivery on this and some of his other speeches makes me chuckle. We need to step outside ourselves sometimes and just let ourselves smile.
